Nagpur News: Dhantoli police intercepted a truck carrying 32 drums of Kerosene at Chunabhatti area on Thursday. The kerosene was being illegally ferried from Indore. The police are investigating how the truck managed to travel to the city via national highway, without being caught at a single checkpost.
Five people, including main accused Nilesh Pande, have been arrested. Samples of the kerosene have been sent to the Chemical Department and the Food and Drugs Association for testing. The kerosene seized is estimated to be worth Rs. 15lakh, while the total worth of all the goods seized is estimeated to be around Rs. 30lakh.
