KDK College of Engineering’s Annual Cultural Programme and Founder’s Day was celebrated with a bang. Former Vice Chancellor, PKV Dr. SA Nimbalkar and Joint Director of DTE Gulabrao Thakre formally inaugurated the event in college premises.
The Annual Gathering as an extravaganza fortified with cultural and musical presentations. The festival witnessed natural and acquired talents of the students.
The president of function Joint Director, Directorate of Technical Education, Nagpur Gulabrao Thakre emphasized on various issues while elaborating on the current Technical and Academic scenario prevailing in the country. He claimed that engineers can make the country recognizable in the world with the newer concept proclaimed and promoted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Make in India”.
Chief Guest SA Nimbalkar while addressing the gathering, highlighted on Innovations. He advised the students to concentrate on studies while enjoying and participating in extracurricular activities in order to procure an excellent future and wholesome all-round development.
Principal, KDKCE Dr DP Singh highlighted on the importance of participating in such events which boosts up the all round personality. He also presented the report of the performance of college during last academic year.
During ‘Novonmesh’, various competitive activities like Sports, Singing, Debate, Quiz, Dance, etc. were undertaken. Mementos and certificates were given away to the winners. On this occasion Vishaka Kaushik was adjudged as ‘Student of the Year’.
The special attraction of the evening during Novonmesh was performance by Pinku Joseph which was electrifying. Some of the performances left the students glued to their seats.
