Amist the news of discord of the alleged affair between Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor, rumour mills are working at higher pace to derive the possible reasons for the said break up. However rumours were rife that Katrina Kaif had a secret meeting with ex-boyfriend Salman Khan post her breakup with Ranbir. Reports were doing the rounds that Salman’s ‘Sultan’ team was meeting up in a restaurant for a bash and Katrina allegedly decided to join them.
Apparently, Katrina spent some time chatting with Ali Abbas and Salman, post which Ali scooted from there giving the ex-flames some privacy. The news raised many eyebrows especially because it came after Katrina’s alleged break-up with reported lover, Ranbir Kapoor. However, this news has apparently upset Katrina a lot, as she issued a statement via her spokesperson. It reads, “Ali Abbas Zafar is Katrina’s close friend and she attends his birthday party every year and this year was no different. Ali happens to be directing Sultan with Salman, which is why he was on the guest list, along with a whole bunch of other people, including Kabir Khan. There was no secret meeting between Katrina and Salman. Request people to please have some respect and not concoct stories which are untrue.”

Ever since Tamasha went on the floors, rumour mills were abuzz with reports of how Katrina Kaif felt insecure given Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s sizzling chemistry. In an interview with Missmalini.com, when asked as to how she felt when people rated Ranbir-Deepika’s chemistry over the one she shares with her rumoured beau, Katrina quipped that she wasn’t a director and didn’t look at actors like that. She further asserted that every body was free to work with each other.

When asked about her favourite co-star, Katrina said that she and Akshay make the best pair ever! She added candidly that it may be politically incorrect to say it but it’s a fact and that since they have given some big hits together, she would love to do another film with him, as reported by DNA.
