‘Jagruk Me ani Samaj’ appeals girls to go vocal over new age crime

Nagpur: The zeal of school and college going girls were on the seventh cloud after witnessing the women top cops among them interacting and motivating them to speak more often about series of modern-day crime at Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya in Jaripatka.

DCP Nirmala Devi, Special Branch, DCP Vinita Shahu, Zone 2 and DCP EOW Shweta Khedkar who were present on the dais interacted with the audience of around a couple of hundreds with a motive to create awareness among school-going girls along with the adult women regarding the growing menace of modern crime through electronic gadgets and social networking sites.

The programme has been conceptualized by Commissioner of Police Dr. Bhushan Kumar Upadhyay.

August 27th – Zone 3 at V M V Mahavidyalaya, Wardhaman Nagar

August 28th – Zone 1 at YCCE Hingna

August 29th – Zone 2 at Shivaji Science College, Dhantoli

August 30th – Zone 4 at KDK College of Engineering.
