Who isn’t aware of Sajid Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez‘s love story? They met, fell in love and then broke up. They got together on the sets of Housefull 2. She even had a special dance number in Housefull called Dhanno which was a big hit. They broke up after that and since Housefull 3 didn’t have Sajid directing it, she was one of the three heroines in the film.
But now that Khan is returning to the franchise, we hear Jacqueline will no longer be seen in the fourth film. Mid-Day quoted a source saying, “He (Khan) has told Sajid Nadiadwala that he doesn’t want Jacqueline to be part of Housefull 4, given their history.” If that’s true, Jackie will lose out on a sureshot hit of 2019. Remember it’s a Diwali release!
The love story that started on the sets of Housefull 2, ran for three years before they called it quits. While you would expect them to part amicably, the truth is it was a bitter breakup. Sajid had blamed Jacqueline for Himmatwala’s failure back then while talking to a leading daily. He had said to a section of media, “When you don’t have a woman in your life, you don’t have someone constantly nagging you, so you end up working better and are more focused. I went for a holiday with her for five days in the middle of making Himmatwala and felt so bad when the film didn’t do well. For Humshakals, I have not taken a single holiday.” But even that couldn’t save Humshakals from being a total disaster. So that theory of Sajid doesn’t hold true.
It’s true that Jacqueline might just lose out on a blockbuster in Housefull 4 but she already has a movie with Salman Khan. Need we say more?
