Nagpur: Amid the media blitzkrieg over the arrest of two suspected ISI agents from Bhaldarpura area on Friday, another confusion still prevailed over the veracity of the news. The news that spilled over various newspapers and digital medium has now been vehemently denied by the city police commissioner Dr Bhushan Kumar Upadhyay.

Nagpur Today learnt that the news was entirely not what was reported. It is a fake news, claimed a source. This claim is further affirmed by CP’s denial followed by the confirmation from other sources placed in SIT, IB, ATS, Military-Intelligence who rubbished the news.

On Friday, a news cropped up that the duo accused were out to target few sensitive spots in the city. The operation was jointly conducted by Military Intelligence (MI) along with special team from Mumbai and Nagpur’s special branch of Anti-Terrorist Cell. It is learnt that few more people, allegedly Pakistani nationals, have also been taken into custody. But on the contrary all the responsible agencies denied such allegation, to Nagpur Today.
