IRCS observes Teachers’ Day in a unique way

The Indian Red Cross Society, Nagpur Branch, n a unique way, observed the Teachers’ Day with the sex workers from Ganga Jamuna area taking the role of teachers. The teachers informed the class about the health issues. A total of 50-60 sex workers participated in the programme.

The programme was organized by Hemlata Lohave and Alka Mankar of the Indian Red Cross Society, Nagpur Branch while the compering was done by Priti Sakore. Rashmi Hote proposed a vote of thanks. Others who were present on the occasion include Pawan Aate, Pranali Labhe, Satish Godbole, Satish Nikose, Celin Bhangardive, Mangala Kadve, Rupali Bhoyar, Sunita Janglekar, Manish Gumgaonkar, Rohini Darline, Madhuri Ramteke, Padmashri Dantalwar, Rekha Gaidhane, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Atul Gajbhiye, Vinod Umredkar and others
