Inter-State, Inter-District Crime Coordination Confernce-2017
Nagpur: Police Commissionerate of Nagpur is organising Inter-State and Inter-District Crime Coordination Conference-2017 on Monday, August 28, 2017 in city. The conference is being held at N-Cops (Nagpur Centre of Police Service Excellence) situated at Patel Bungalow, Chhaoni. The conference will be attended by officials of the rank of Superintendents of Police and Additional Director Generals of Police from Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand as well as Maharashtra’s Amravati City, Amravati Range, Gadchiroli Range, Nagpur Range, Nagpur Railway, Nagpur City and Anti-Naxal Campaign.

The main aim of this Crime Coordination Conference is to exchange information on detection of various crimes, measures to taken for creating upper hand on criminals and curbing crimes, keeping watch on movement of criminals who go from one state to another, commit serious crimes and return to their native states as well as detection of crimes and gathering maximum evidences against criminals so that they are convicted by courts.

Nagpur city is growing by leaps and bounds. Population of the city is growing day by day. Criminals from other districts and states come to city and indulge in burglaries, house-breakings, vehicle lifting, chain-snatching, and other crimes and cross city borders within a short time. In such situations, police find it very difficult to detect the crime and book the criminals. Keeping this aspect in mind, the Inter-State and Inter-District Crime Coordination Conference will find out ways and means to have upper hand on criminals and curbing their nasty activities.
