Industry workshop by VIA, PWC on July 10

Nagpur News: Vidarbha Industries Association and Pricewaterhouse Coopers Pvt. Ltd, (PWC) along with the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy with support from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) would organise a workshop on ‘Market Development of Concentrating Technologies (CST’s) for Process Heat and Cooling Applications in the Industrial Sector’ with focus on concentrating solar technologies.

The workshop would be held at VIA Hall, Udyog Bhawan, Civil lines on July 10 from 10 a.m.

The objective of this workshop is to enlighten the owners about the basics of the various solar thermal technologies and to share central level policy initiatives and incentives available , sensitize industry owners with the objectives of the present project and its advantages and invite comments from key stakeholders in the perceived challenges and barriers in the implementation of concentrating solar technologies in process requirements .

The programme will be beneficial to manufacturers, industries in cables, food, textile, pharma, chemicals, paper mills, liquor breweries, cosmetics, plastic, fertilizer, rubber , electroplating or any other unit that requires heat / steam.

The programme is free. Interested industrial houses are requested to register on or before July 5, said a press note issued chairman, VIA Science and Technology Forum, Sudhir Paliwal here on Saturday.
