The grand finale of the singing reality show, Indian Idol 10 took place today. Salman Ali, who was a consistent contestant, has been declared as the winner. He was competing with Vibhor Parashar, Nitin Kumar, Ankush Bharadwaj and Neelanjana Ray. Ankush became the first runner-up.
The show was judged by Neha Kakkar, Javed Ali and Vishal Dadlani. It was a glittering ceremony that saw many spectacular performances. Not only contestants but judges also entertained the audience. The night was more special as Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma came on the show to promote their film Zero.
SRK danced to some of his popular songs and even interacted with the contestants. Javed took the stage and crooned some of his popular songs like Ishaqzaade, Rangreza and Sajna Tere Bina. Neha performed to her hit numbers like Kala Chashma, Dilbar and Aankh Marey.
Alka Yagnik, who also attended the event crooned her popular song Agar Tum Saath Ho.
Shilpa Shetty also graced the show. She danced on her popular song Chura Ke Dil Mera with Maniesh Paul. She was present to promote her upcoming dance reality show, Super Dancer Chapter 3.
On a related note, Salman has been one of the most popular contestants of the show. Right from the beginning, he was praised for his singing. In fact, the star received many standing ovations in this season. Not only this, many Bollywood personalities who came to judge the show were impressed with him. It will be interesting to see if he sings in films in coming days.
