
Nagpur: Mind Park Foundation, in association with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Nagpur, is organising a unique and thought-provoking Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme titled “Life Cycle of a Medico from a Psychological Perspective: Training to Tending” on Sunday, January 11, at IMA’s Dr. Dinkar Hardas Hall, Nagpur. The day-long CME will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The interactive CME is open to medical practitioners from all streams, including Allopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, and all other allied pathies of medical professionals aims to address the often-overlooked psychological, emotional, and social challenges faced by doctors throughout different phases of their professional and personal lives.
The programme has applied for 2 MMC credit points, making it academically beneficial for participating doctors.
The scientific sessions will cover important themes such as the transition of a doctor into parenthood, self-detox in the digital age, emotional well-being, self-awareness, and the responsibilities of caring for aging parents. Eminent speakers for the CME include Dr. Sreelakshmi Vaidyanathan (Nagpur), Dr. Ashish Mohide (Sambhajinagar), Dr. Rajendra Barve (Mumbai), and Dr. Jahnavi Kedare (Mumbai).
A special panel discussion titled “Marriage in Scrubs: Love, Duty, and the Doctor Life” will also be held, focusing on balancing personal relationships with demanding medical careers.
Registration charges are ₹500 without credit points and ₹700 with credit points, which include breakfast, lunch, and high tea.
The event is being organized under the guidance of Mr. Milind Dashputra, Dr. Urmila Kshirsagar, Dr. Rajesh Sawarbhandhe (IMA Nagpur President), Dr. Kumar Kamble, Dr. Rahul Bagal, and Dr. Jitendra Sahu (IMA Nagpur Hon. Secretary).
The organizers believe the CME will serve as an important platform for doctors to reflect, reconnect, and strengthen their mental and emotional well-being while continuing to serve society with compassion.
