“If you want change then change the Government. In the 15-year rule of Congress-NCP, no life could get transformed for better. Therefore, if you want change in Maharashtra then give BJP the clear majority for tasting the fruits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development schemes,” appealed State BJP President Devendra Fadnavis on Monday, the last day of campaigning for October 15 Assembly election.

Fadnavis was addressing a public meeting held in Umarkhed constituency of Yavatmal district as part of campaigning for BJP candidate Rajendra Waman Najardhane. “During the 15-year rule of Congress-NCP, Maharashtra went ahead on two counts – farmers’ suicides and rapes. In the Democratic Front’s Government, lives of poor Dalits, Adivasis, womenfolk, students and farmers never got changed. Therefore, for transforming Maharashtra into the real progressive State, push the ‘Lotus’ button on October 15 and give BJP the clear majority,” urged Fadnavis.

“In the Lok Sabha election, the people elected Narendra Modi’s Government with majority. Now, nation is experiencing the change in scenario with strong Government at Centre. Prices of petrol-diesel have come down, investments increased, economy is gaining speed and thus job generation has started. Modi visited Japan, the US and the entire world took note of these historic events. This charisma was possible only because of majority and strong Government at Centre. Maharashtra also needs such majority and effective Government,” appealed Fadnavis.
