Nagpur News: South Eastern Central Railway, Bilaspur and Southern Railway recorded convincing victories over their opponents in 69th All India Railway Football Tournament (League Phase) organised by South Eastern Central Railway Sports Association (SECRSA) at Motibagh Stadium on Sunday.
SECR drubbed Railway Board 5-0. They were leading by 2-0 in the first half. Raja Gurum drew the first blood in ninth minute. In the very next moment, Santosh Kumar doubled the score through excellent goal.
After a change of ends also SECR continued their dominance. In form Amit Anthony who scored spectacular hat-trick in an inaugural encounter increased the lead 3-0 in the 48th minute. In the second match, Southern Railway mauled Railway Wagon Factory 7-0. Sirajuddin hogged the limelight by scoring three goals in 26th min 76th min and 83rd minute. Rajesh strick twice in 21st and 66th minutes. Rizu also scored two goals in 13th min and 73rd minutes.
