Nagpur: A house owner has been booked on the charges of causing death of a 4-year old girl negligently. The kid fell into an uncovered water tank of the house and drowned to death. Had the water tank been covered properly the child would have been alive.
The kid, Komal Brijeshkumar Pal (4), granddaughter of Rajaram Raghuvir Pal (48), resident of Plot No. 111, Talmale Layout, Nagpur, was playing in the premises of accused Rajesh Mahadevrao Selvante’s house, situated at Plot No. 871, behind Sarja Bar, Bharat Nagar in Kalamna area, around 7 pm on Wednesday. While playing, Komal slipped and fell into an uncovered water tank and drowned to death. The accused Rajesh Selvante negligently kept the water tank uncovered and thus caused death of the innocent kid. Had the water tank been covered properly the child would have been alive.
Kalamna PSI Rathod, acting on a complaint filed by Rajaram Pal, registered an offence against the house owner Rajesh Selvante under Section 304(A) of IPC and probing the matter further.
