Nagpur: Sitabuldi police team under the guidance of DCP Zone I Shailesh Balkawde raided two hookah parlours in an hour in Sitabuldi police station area on Sunday evening.
Ten youths and a woman were rounded up from ‘Highway’ hookah parlour run at Shiv Gaurav Apartment in Dharampeth. The second raid was conducted at Jagat Plaza, Amravati Road, at Cuba Hookah parlour. Ten youths and 2 women were rounded up from there.
The raid was conducted by police sub-inspector RK Munde and team under the guidance of PI Satyaveer Bandewar. Highway hookah parlour owner Ravi Hemnani, 24, a resident of Khamla, and Anit Sakarande of Cuba hookah parlour, were booked..
Sources said Sakarande was given the contract to run the parlour but the owners are still not known.
