Nagpur: Much gone down water-level of Kanhan river in the district is now gradually increasing to the relief of users of the river, as among many utilities, it is also a major source of drinking water to the citizens.

The scanty rainfall had become a great concern for all, but since it has been raining continuously over a couple of days, though not heavily, it is hoped that the problem of water scarcity would be sorted out for the time being.

It is also hoped that as weather of rainy season has changed favorably for kharif crops, it should continue raining till August.
