Governor Rao to grace various programmes during his 4-day visit to Vidarbha from Nov 4

Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao will be on a four-day Vidarbha visit beginning from November 4. During his Vidarbha tour, Rao will attend various programmes in Nagpur, Amravati and Gadchiroli districts. The Governor will arrive from Mumbai at 8 pm and will have night stay in Raj Bhavan.

On Wednesday (November 5), Governor C Vidyasagar Rao will proceed to Amravati by helicopter at 9.20 am. He will attend as Chief Guest the inaugural function of 12th Maharashtra State Inter University Cultural Festival ‘Indradhanushya-2014’ organized by Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University at 10 am. Later, he will leave for Dharni. In Dharni, the Governor will visit Anganwadi, Public Health Centre and Dharni Rural Hospital. The Governor will attend at the inaugural function of new building of Agriculture Technical School of Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth at 12.15 pm and will have interaction with government officials at Government Rest House, Dharni at 3.15 pm. Rao will return Nagpur at 5 pm and halt at Raj Bhavan for night.

On Thursday (November 6), the Governor will proceed for Gadchiroli at by helicopter at 10 am and visit to Agarbatti manufacturing unit and Community Forest Right Village Gothangaon, Tq. Kurkheda, Dist Gadchiroli. At 11.45 am, Rao will have a beforehand experience at Hasta-Kala Kendra (I.T.I.) Gadchiroli and at 12.30 pm, visit to English Ashram School. Later, he will hold interaction with District Officials at Collectorate, Gadchiroli at 2 pm. He will return to Nagpur for night stay.

On Friday (November 7), the Governor will leave for Ramtek at 10.20 am and will attend laying of foundation stone programme of Convocation Hall and visit to Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek at 10.45 am. At 12.00 noon, he will unveil the statue of late V Rajeshwara Rao, Founder Chairman, Vodithala Education Society at Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science, Ramtek. Rao will return to Nagpur at 2.10 pm and will return Mumbai by a flight at 5.10 pm.
