Nagpur: A miscreant threw dust in the eyes of an aged woman and snatched her gold chain worth Rs 50,000 in Dhantoli locality on Wednesday morning. The accused has been arrested.
A resident of Silver Palace Apartment, near Yashwant Stadium, Manoj Ashok Kumar Jain (30) told police that his mother Hemlata Jain was standing in front of her house around 7.30 am on Wednesday. During the same time, the accused Roshan Manohar Khare (30), resident of Ghat Road, threw dust in her eyes and snatched her gold chain worth Rs 50,000. The accused fled the spot after the crime.
Based on Manoj Jain’s complaint, Dhantoli PSI Gole booked the accused Roshan Khare under Section 392 and launched a search for him. Later cops traced the accused and put him behind the bars.
