The Gittikhadan police have booked three persons including a woman for committing a fraud in connection with a plot of land.
According to police, the accused Vilas Madhukar Sadavarte (54), resident of Kapil Nagar, Sindhu Namdeo Dhakate, (46) and their accomplice conspired and prepared fake documents of a plot of land belonging to Pushpa Bhalchandra Pardhi, native of Bhandara. The said plot is situated as Plot No. 40, Mouja Gorewada, Nataraj Co-operative Housing Society, Khasra No 46. The accused trio prepared bogus documents of the said plot of land and even introduced Sindhu Namdeo Dhakate in place of Pushpa Bhalchandra Pardhi and created a fake sale deed in the name of Vilas Madhukar Sadavarte.
The three accused then approached the complainant, Umesh Bacchu Singh (40), resident of Plot No 1060, Sant Narmadamata Nagar, Gorewada, despite knowing the sale deed was fake, fell prey to the accused who again prepared bogus ownership documents on 10-07-13. The trio then recovered Rs 9,11,000 from Umesh Bacchu Singh from time to time. However, finally Bacchu Singh approached Gittikhadan Police Station and lodged a complaint against the accused trio. The Gittikhadan PSI Kurade booked the accused under Sections 419, 420, 465, 468, 471, 34 of the IPC and investigating the matter further.
