Nagpur: A 19-year old boy thrashed and outraged modesty of a girl student studying in his class audaciously in front of other students of the college in Sitabuldi jurisdiction on Friday afternoon. The lewd accused student has been arrested.
The complainant girl studies in the first year of Commerce Stream and the accused Dheeraj Shrikant Vaidya (19), resident of Hilltop, Pandharabodi, also studies in the same class since the past one year. On Friday around 4.30 pm, the girl student was standing near cash counter of college and was filling up a form. At the same time, she was also talking to her relative who had come to college. Suddenly, the accused Dheeraj Vaidya arrived at the spot and started beating the girl and her relative. He then caught hold of the girl student’s hand and dragged her out of college. The audacious acts of accused Dheeraj were being watched by other students in awe. The shocked girl later approached Sitabuldi police and registered a case against the accused.
PSI Shejav, acting on the complaint, booked the accused Dheeraj Vaidya under Sections 354, 323 of IPC and placed him under arrest.
