Nagpur News : The criminal set of activities were being committed in the name of operating a gym situated just a few steps closer to Hudkeshwar police station. The police has arrested eight members of the notorious gang and recovered weapons from their possession. Those arrested included Mohit Sanjay Pande, 19, resident of Santoshi Mata Nagar, Feroze Khan Afzal Khan (24), Taufique Mirza Asif Mirza (24) of Yasin plot, Abhinav Vijay Shende (21) of Bholebaba Nagar, Abdul Wasim Abdul Kareem (22) Siddheshwar Nagar, Sagar Vikas Tayde (21) Sai Nagar, Manoj Shivram Nanhe (23) of Dhamna and Lakshman alias Ramesh Watkar (23) of Vaishnav Mata Nagar.
Sources informed that Mohit Pande operated fitness center near Hudkeshwar police station, while Abhinav Shende worked as a coach there. Other accused are the customers at the gym. Abdul Waseem was said to be having previous criminal record.
All the accused had received threat from another history sheeter from Sakardara. For this reason all the accused were hiding near Gajanan temple in Mhalgi Nagar. Receiving the tipoff police then raided the place and found the accused with sword and red chilli powder. They even could not come up with satisfactory reply when police inquired them. The matter was being investigated following their arrest.
