Nawabi Macchi
A delicious and easy to make recipe all the way from the Royal Nawabi cuisine all the way from Lucknow.

Ingredients:

1 pomfret
1 tbsp yellow chili powder
1 tbsp red chili powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp haldi
1 tsp ajwain
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp besan
Salt to paste
1 tsp chat masala
1 lemon
Accompaniment: Mint chutney

Method:
Carefully clean the fish from inside and outside without damaging the shape of the fish, make slits on the fish so that the marinade is applied properly.
Take a clean bowl put yellow chili powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, haldi, ajwain, ginger-garlic paste, besan, salt and mix well, apply the mixture to the fish and marinate for 30mins.
Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the fish carefully.
Sprinkle chat masala on the fish and serve hot with cold mint chutney.
