Four persons injured in road accident on Kamptee road

At least four persons were injured when the car they were travelling in was hit by another car on Saturday. The accident took place on Kamptee road-based Lamba Complex near Punjab National Bank.

According to police, one Roshan Sundardas Ranglani was returning home after attending marriage of a relative from Lamba Celebration Hall on Kamptee Road. He picked his elder brother Suraj Ranglani and two other relatives Vipin Ranglani and Kishore Mayaramji  in his car (MH-31/EA 3021) and started returning home. A Safari car (MH-31/CP 7176),driven by one Sudhir Manikrao Dongre (42), a resident of Kushinagar, came from opposite direction at great speed and rammed the car of Roshan Sundardas Ranglani injuring all the four persons. They were immediately admitted to Chandak Hospital.

Pachpaoli police rushed to the spot after receiving information regarding the accident and filed an offence against the driver of the Safari Sudhir Manikrao Dongre. Later police arrested Sudhir.

SUICIDE: A man committed suicide in Pachpaoli area of Nagpur city by hanging himself in his residence. According to police, one Manoj Hate (40), a resident of Thakkar Gram, Pachpaoli, took the extreme step when he was alone in the house by hanging himself to a wooden rafter with the help of his shirt. The reason behind the suicide could not be ascertained as Manoj did not leave any note. Manoj’s wife Aarti was in a shock. However she informed the Pachpaoli police who immediately went to the spot and sent the body to Mayo Hospital for post-mortem. They have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the matter further.
