Four goons booked for looting man on knifepoint

Nagpur News : A 50-year-old man was waylaid by four goons who attacked him with a knife and looted cash and valuables worth Rs 29,200 from him on Tuesday.

The complainant Rajesh Madhukar Raut (50) is a resident of Balabhaupeth, near Satpute flourmill, Pachpaoli. On Tuesday, Rajesh was riding back home on his vehicle. While returning home, he stopped at Ambedkar Square, near Bada Buddha Vihar, Indora and parked his vehicle. The accused Kawa, Pinto Rajesh Dongre, Nana and Rahul came near him and demanded money for consuming liquor. Rajesh denied their demand. The goons then attacked him with knife injuring his hands and back. The accused then looted his Rs 1200 cash, his Nokia mobile and a gold chain collectively worth Rs 29,200 and fled away from the spot.

Jaripatka police have launched a manhunt for the goon after registering an offence under Sections 392, 325, 326, and 34 of the IPC.
