After reaching Bhandeplot area in Nagpur, the young members of Nagose family and Sathpaise attacked the three Ugle brothers with swords and knives and hacked them to death at around 9:05 pm most probably over a dispute during a mutton party. Another report says that the brawl erupted during gambling the warring parties were indulging and a free-for-all broke out. The petty looking brawl soon turned bloody as the accused eliminated the three brothers on reaching Nagpur.
