The accused conspired with each other and nefariously extended a loan of Rs 5 lakh to Vijaylaxmi Ashokrao Lohkare (41), resident of Zingabai Takli, to be returned with 10 percent interest. In exchange, the five accused forced Vijaylaxmi mortgage her agriculture land and 1500 sq ft plot with them. Moreover, the accused kept with them the original documents of the properties. However, despite Vijaylaxmi returning Rs 18 lakh including the interest to the accused over a period from July 2012 to December 2014 the accused forced her to make registry of the properties in their names. This way the accused usurped Rs 18 lakh against a loan of Rs 5 lakh and also grabbed landed property of Vijaylaxmi in fraudulent manner.
