Final hearing on all Aadhaar cases by Nov end

New Delhi: The Supreme Court issues a notice to the Centre on pleas challenging the linking of bank accounts and mobile numbers with Aadhaar.

All Aadhaar-related pleas to be taken up for final hearing by SC’s constitution bench in November last week. The SC says banks will indicate in messages sent to customers that December 31 is the last date to link Aadhaar with accounts.

Telecom service providers shall also tell customers that last date to link Aadhaar with mobile numbers is February 6, 2018. Details awaited.
