Nagpur News: As the incident of gang rape in Delhi continues to rock the country, more tales of sexual assault are coming out every day. A heinous incident has come to light in the city, with Gittikhadan Police registering a case against a 48 year- old man for having allegedly raped his adolescent daughter frequently over a period of more than two years.
The fourteen- year old girl finally found the strength to open up and talk to her aunt, i.e. her father’s sister, about the ordeal at her residence in Anant Nagar. However, her place of solace gave her further trauma as her aunt’s twenty two year old son, also raped her.
Cases have been filed against the victim’s father Ravindra Dashrath Meshram and her rapist cousin Ashish Prakash Potbhare under Sections 34 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code.
