Etihad airways team visits MIHAN SEZ

IMG_3135Nagpur: A team of top officials of Etihad Airways visited the MIHAN project on Thursday, 10th September 2015 afternoon.

At Airport  Abadesh Prasad, Sr. Airport Director, MIL and  Abid Ruhi, GM Airport, MIL welcomed the guests and at the MIHAN office in Central Facility Building of MIHAN SEZ S.V. Chahande, Advisor (Tech), MADC, S. K. Chatterjee, CE (MADC) &  Ashok Chaudhary, Deputy Collector, MADC welcomed the guests. Atul Thakare, MM, MADC and Mr. Deepak Joshi, PRO, MADC were also present at the occasion. A short movie on MIHAN was shown to the guests. Later all the dignitaries had a discussion with MADC officials. All the team members showed keen interest about MIHAN project.

S. V Chahande explained the details of MIHAN project on Master Plan and Mr. Atul Thakare gave detailed information through power point presentation about the project and assured about the overall cooperation. Later the delegates took a tour to all the prominent locations of MIHAN Project.

The Etihad Airways team included Ms. Neerja Bhatia, Vice President, India and Indian Sub-Continent, Mr. David Kerr, Vice President Cargo, Mr. Alex Featherstone, Vice President Network Planning, Mr. Matthew Davies, General Manager Airports; and Ms. Moksha Watts, Sr. Manager, International & Public Affairs, all from Etihad Airways.

According to an official spokesperson of Etihad Airways “Following the invitation from the Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, an Etihad Airways senior management team has today visited Nagpur Airport and MIHAN project and met with Senior Maharashtra Government officials. India is a crucial part of Etihad Airways Global Cargo and Passenger Network and we are already a long term economic investor through our stake in Jet Airways.”
