An elderly woman was knocked dead by a speeding two-wheeler vehicle on Friday evening under the jurisdiction of Guttikhadan police.
Deceased Leelabai Dashrath Kutrahe (65), a resident of Sai Nagar, near Ashirwad School, Plot No. 13 was walking by Godhani Road, in front of Shrikrishna Mangal Karyalay when a speeding and uncontrolled Activa hit her at around 6.45 pm. Leelabai died on the spot while the ‘killer’ Activa rider sped away from the scene.
