At Priyadarshini College; CM says Semiconductor industries should be started in India

CM inaugurates International Conference on Advanced Trends and Applications of Electronics Technology at Priyadarshini College Of Engineering.

Semiconductor industries should be started in India to make the country economically sound as compared to other countries. Emphasizing on various points such as the evolution in microprocessor technology starting from 4 bit processor till the existing technology of quad core processors. He stressed upon teamwork and gave example of giant companies such as Apple, Google, Face book, said Chief Minister of Maharashtra Prithiviraj Chavan while inaugurating the  International Conference on “Advanced Trends and Applications of Electronics Technology at Priyadarshini College Of Engineering, Nagpur  in presence of  Minister of Cooperation & Parliamentary Affairs Harshwardhan Patil, Minister of Employment Guarantee Scheme & Water Conservation Dr. Nitin Raut, Minister of State for Finance , Energy Rajendra Mulak.   Chairman of Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Santha Dr. Satish Chaturvedi. Member of Management Council RTMNU Dr. Babanrao Taywade, and Dean of Faculty of Engineering & Technology RTMNU Dr. R.V. Kshirsagar.

In his inaugural address of  Chief Minister Prithiviraj Chavan emphasized on a broad spectrum of issues related to the engineers and technologists of India that they should adopt the spirit of technological innovations so as to make India absolutely self reliant in the development of Indian products being made popular world over.

Unique ID number is the one of the largest scheme in the world for the identification of an individual. This was implemented only in India through Adhar card based on technique such as Bio Metric processing like Finger Prints and Iris recognition. He also stated that only completing the bachelors or PG courses to get as job of  9 to 5 working hours is not sufficient but education should be a continuous process and one should always be eager to gain knowledge and always be a student.

Dr. Satish Chaturvedi,Chairman, LTJSS said that  more than 24000 students are taking education in various institutions run by LTJSS and more than 800 alumni are working over and abroad in multinational companies.

Chief Minister released the Proceedings of the conference and declared that the conference is inaugurated. Dr. Satish Chaturvedi , Chairman ,LTJSS and president of the function felicitated the chief minister by offering shawl, shrifal and memento.

This Conference is sponsored by AICTE, New Delhi is being organized in association with International Journal of Computer Applications, New York, USA for 3 days  from 19th  to 21st  December 2013. The other dignitaries present at the occasion were Abha Chaturvedi, Secretary, LTJSS, Shri. Dushyant Chaturvedi, Director (Governing Board), LTJSS , Praful Guddhe Patil, Avinash Menani. Dr.O.S.Bihade, Executive Director, LTJSS. Dr. M.P.Singh Principal, Dr. N.K. Choudhari, Dr. C.G. Dethe, Dr. V.M. Nanoti,  Prof. Habib Khan, Dr. A. Shende , Prof. Sarang Gurjar, Dr.J.P. Modak, Dr. S.W.Varade and Dr. S.S.Shriramwar. Faculty members of Electronics& Telecommunication Engineering in particular and the faculty members of other departments were present in large number.
