Job Description
The Education Officer (EO) will be working from SF’s head office at Nagpur. EO will be responsible for implementing the education programmes in Nagpur and Pench Tiger Reserve. He/She should be good in English, Hindi and Marathi languages.He/she must have his own bike/motorcycle to travel in the city. The duration of the assignment is one year and you may apply next year to continue. The honorarium of Rs.8000/month will be provided. Qualification: Any Graduate /PG, preferably MSc Environmental Science, B.Ed.
The Satpuda landscape includes the forests of Kanha, Satpura Tiger Reserve, Pench (Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh), Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, Melghat Tiger Reserve, Navegaon-Nagzira and all areas connecting these prime wildlife pockets. This landscape is viewed by experts as the largest contiguous tiger habitat in the world. It hosts around 300 tigers. Satpuda Foundation works at both the grassroots level and policy level to promote its aim to protect wildlife and forests.
