Nagpur News : Prison Guard of Nagpur central jail has been arrested on Sunday morning for allegedly possessing Ganja and cell phone batteries. Dhantoli police, who has booked him under relevant sections of IPC, told that he was found in inebriated condition with drugs and batteries.
Changdev Pawar, 42, was staying at Jail quarters in the Central Jail. He was found drunken by senior police officials at Jail during duty hours. Later, on checking him, police found 15 gram Ganja and two cell phone batteries.
Police said that interrogation with Pawar in underway. Cops suspect that he might have been involved in providing some prisoners with Ganja and Phones. In the initial questioning, Pawar has been denying the charges.
