Nagpur News : Suspecting something fishy, alert onlookers nabbed a 30-year-old man while he was allegedly taking an 11-year-old girl with him. The incident took place at Yashodhara Nagar square on Sunday morning.
Azad Shaikh, 30, a resident of Bihar was later handed over to Yashodhara Nagar police station. Police said that Shaikh was seen holding the girl’s hand and was looking in indecent manner. People rounded him up and thrashed him before police reached the spot.
Police said that Shaikh works as a labourer in an under construction building. Further interrogation with him is underway. People alleged that Shaikh was having an intention to abduct the girl. However, police has registered a case of molestation against him.
