These were the glowing words in which Banwarilal Purohit, Chairman and Managing Editor of Hitavada spoke about Dr. Taori at his funeral.
Though the news of Dr. Taori’s demise early this morning had not reached all over the city yet and the funeral was held at 11 a.m. only, many city Doctors attended the last rites. Some went to Dr. Taori’s home in Ramdaspeth to pay their last rites.
The prominent city Doctors NT saw were : Dr. Chandrashekhar Meshram, Dr. Gouri Kumar Sarode, Dr. Prashant Agnihotri, Dr. Sangram Wagh, Dr. Lokendra Singh and all the Doctors’ team from CIIMS. Many young physicians who have trained under Dr. Taori and looked up to him were present too.
Many prominent members of the Agarwal community of Nagpur were present too. Mohan Agarwal, Praveen Tapadia and Sukesh Gandhi from MIDC and VIA, Rakesh Khandelwal industrialist were seen. Some well known lawyers and CAs were also there.
Supreme court Justice (retired) Shirpurkar was present too.
