DPS conducts Investiture Ceremony of school cabinet

The INVESTITURE CEREMONY of the school cabinet of Delhi Public School, Mihan, Nagpur for the academic session 2019-2020 was held with great pomp and dignity in a special ceremony in the school quadrangle. The event started with a formal welcome of the chief guest Mr. Manohar Kotnake (Sr. PI) Sonegaon Police station, Nagpur, and guests of honour Mr.AjayMansukhani (Pro Vice Chairman of DPS), Mrs.MonicaMansukhani and Mrs. Ritu Sharma, (Principal, DPS KAMPTEE ROAD). The PTA members were invited as special guests for the occasion. The event was conducted with the high degree of earnestness and passion by the anchors.They were very confident and presided over the programme very well.

The INVESTITURE CEREMONY signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities.

The ceremony was held with lots of zeal and zest. It was commenced with the lighting of the lamp. The school choir sang the “Welcome Song” which was followed by the dazzling dancers on stage who presented a fusion of classical and western dance.The schoolchoir presented another number “KarHarMaidanFateh” which was literally a marvellous performance.

The elected Leaders’ profiles were announced and they were conferred with badges by the Honourable Chief Guest Mr. Manohar Kotnake and the other guests.

The oath was read out by the School Principal Ms.GurpreetBhambra, the torch bearer of DPS MIHAN. The students’ council and the committee members for Discipline, Cultural, Cleanliness and Uniform took the pledge to hold the school motto of service before self in high esteem.

Mr. Manohar Kotnake (Sr. PI) also congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. He also exhorted them to uphold the values. He reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers.

The Principal Ms.GurpreetBhambra also appreciated and congratulated them. She advised them to be role models and extended a supporting hand to the students’ council for the smooth running of the school. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
