Nagpur News : -Prince Arora delivered a talk on “Destination Dubai” on Saturday 10th August at VIA Hall. This programme was organized by the Marketing Forum of VIA.

The speaker Prince Arora, Managing Director, Shells Advertising Inc, Dubai helped audience to understand how to set up your business & opportunities available in UAE. In his talk he said UAE – Today is strategically located and easily access to the Middle East, African and European Markets it has rich Consuming Class Locally and it is one of the world’s highest income consumer base. It has Per Capita GDP: USD 64,840 in UAE vs 49,922 in USA, 41,513 in Germany, 38,589 in UK, 6076 in China & 1492 in India , with 88 % of the population are Expats – Approx. 8 mn and 30% are Indians – the largest expat community -Approx 2.5 – 3 mn .

Prince added that UAE has Political Stability, it has Infrastructure at Par with the world, has Business Friendly Environment with No strikes, No riots, No clamp-downs, Easy to set up business, No bureaucracy, E-services, Smart phone app for regn., Single-window clearance and lastly you can start your business in just 7 days. Further he added, one can establish business in UAE by different types such as Permanent Establishment, Limited Liability Company, Free Zone Company, Professional Firm, Branch Office, Commercial agency agreement, Civil Company, Offshore Company, Limited Liability Company with minimum 2 and maximum of 50 persons, Need a local Emirati sponsor who holds at least 51% of the company’s capital, Management control lies with the expat, Can legally operated and do any business within and outside UAE, Exception: insurance, banking and investment of money for others. But the Federal and local laws and regulations apply and are very strict.

Prince added that Companies with trade and industrial licenses can only conduct business within the Free Zone or abroad, To sell products in the UAE, a UAE official agent is required, and a joint venture needs to be formed, Approx cost of business set-up – Starting AED 15, 000, When not to choose a Free Zone, If you: Practice a regulated profession it require a lot of visas or warehouse/office space.
