New Delhi.

Just as BJP leaders in Delhi had predicted it all turned out to be a storm in a tea cup. Tandon resigned and then Tandon took back his resignation – all in the matter of a day!

BJP Delhi Chief Satish Upadhyay confirmed that Narendra Tandon, the campaign manager of chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi, has withdrawn his resignation and will continue to work for the party.
“I just got to know from the party that Narendra Tandon visited the central party office and took back his resignation. He will continue to work for the BJP,” he said.

Tandon blamed his ’emotional’ state of mind for tendering his resignation earlier and writing the letter to Amit Shah. Interestingly in the letter, he had not mentioned just Kiran Bedi and her ‘ruthlessness’ with BJP workers many years ago but also alleged that one of the party secretary (organisation) is only interested in ” women and money” and requested Mr. Shah to look into the matter.

Sources said Mr. Tandon was taken to see Mr. Amit Shah after he had sent in his letter and when he came out of the meeting he was a ‘loyal party worker’ again.
As Delhi BJP spokesperson Harish Khurana, said earlier “Mr. Tandon has resigned from the party for the third time”.
