Nagpur: In a recent incident, BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule’s son, Sanket Bawankule, was involved in an accident where his Audi car collided with five vehicles, including a two-wheeler. The police detained Sanket Bawankule and another individual for questioning and later released them. According to the police, Arjun Jitendra Havare (24) was driving the car, while Sanket Bawankule was in the passenger seat, and their friend Ronit Chintamwar (27) was seated in the back.
Audi Car Inspected by Nagpur RTO:
Officials from the Nagpur Regional Transport Office (RTO) have inspected the Audi car involved in the accident. Following the initial inspection, RTO officials checked whether the Sitabudi police had uploaded details of the accident on the government’s Integrated Road Accident Data (iRAD) website. However, no information was found on the website, preventing the RTO from uploading a detailed inspection report for the vehicle involved. The next day, the police were asked to confirm if they had submitted the report, but the RTO officials did not find any information.
Delay in Police Investigation:
According to regulations, any accident in Nagpur must be immediately reported on the government’s iRAD website by the city police department, including the vehicle’s registration number and preliminary details. Subsequently, the RTO officials conduct an inspection and provide an analysis of the accident’s cause and other estimates. Despite the Audi car accident involving Sanket Bawankule occurring on Sunday, the Sitabudi police have yet to release the vehicle-related report, raising questions about the delay in the investigation.
