CP Club Road Remains Closed for Over Two Weeks, Causing Major Inconvenience to Commuters

Vanshika Malviya || Nagpur: Residents and daily commuters in the Civil Lines and Ravi Nagar areas continue to face severe inconvenience as the CP Club Road has remained inaccessible for more than 15 days due to ongoing infrastructure work.
The road closure, initially announced as a short term disruption for pipeline installation, has now extended without any clear timeline for reopening. Barricades remain firmly in place, forcing commuters to take long and confusing detours.
Adding to the problem, the closure has now extended towards the Ravi Nagar Quarters road, further narrowing access routes in this key administrative zone. Simultaneous construction activities near Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande Hall and the stretch facing the Chitnavis Centre have virtually paralysed movement in the entire corridor.

Residents allege that site workers had earlier assured that the road would be operational within a week, but even after more than ten days since that assurance, there has been no progress. The absence of official communication from the concerned authorities has only intensified public frustration.
