Cops recover lethal arms from house of a teenage boy in Jaripatka

Nagpur: Jaripatka police, in a midnight swoop on Friday, recovered a cache of lethal arms from the house of a teenage boy in Misal Layout area. Four minor boys, including the teenager, have been arrested in this connection. Apart from the weapons, cops have seized an arms-making machine.

Naik Police Constables Gopal Mankar and Surendra Shukla were patrolling in Misal Layout area on Friday night. During patrolling, the two cops received information that arms are being manufactured in the house of a teenage boy. Based on the information, the police raided the house and carried out a search. The search led to recovery of six lethal weapons and also the arms-making machine. The accused teenager and his three minor accomplices were detained in this connection and have been sent to a remand home. However, the particulars of the recovered arms could not be ascertained.

Jaripatka police are investigating the matter further. The focus of police probe is centred around as to why the four accused were making the arms and for whom?
