Nagpur: In a heart-rending incident, a policeman attached to Katol Police Station reportedly committed suicide just a day before his marriage.
The deceased cop Rajesh Sayre was missing since the past two days. On Friday, his body was found floating in a lake at Mohgaon Jhilpi in the district. At the same lake, motorcycle and chappals of Rajesh were found on Thursday. With these findings, cops had launched a search of the lake and the body of Rajesh was found the next day (Friday).
Rajesh Sayre was to get married on Friday but two days before he went missing. The reasons behind Rajesh taking the extreme step could not be ascertained immediately
