Conman fools young man with mobile tower trick in Kalamna

conmanNagpur: A trickster conned a young man to the tune of Rs 77,400 on the pretext of erecting mobile tower at his premises. The conman is being searched by Kalamna cops.

The complainant, Jitendra Motiram Raut (36) of Navin Nagar, Pardi, received calls from mobile phone 8510969771 between July 7, 2016 and August 10, 2016 and the caller identified himself as Amitkumar. The so-called Amitkumar told Jitendra that if he is interested in erecting mobile tower at his place then he should deposit varying amounts in the given accounts of Punjab National Bank and State Bank of India. Trapped by the lucrative offer, Jitendra deposited in all Rs 77,400 in five accounts of PNB and SBI and waited for erection of the mobile tower. However, Jitendra realized soon that he has been fooled and duped.

Kalamna PSI N R Analdas has booked the accused Amitkumar under Section 420 of the IPC and searching for him.
