Colaba street on lockdown ahead of Bibis visit to Chabad House

As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shortly heads for Chabad House in Colaba, target of terrorists during 26/11, to hold a memorial service of the victims and meet the 11-year-old Moshe Holtzberg who lost his parents in the terror attack, the street on which the building is located has been shut.

Even the local landmark, Rex Bakery, which remains open 24×7, was not allowed to open today

‘It’s a kind of dj vu of 26/11,’ she reports, ‘minus, of course, the sound of gunshots and grenade going off.’

Meanwhile, the movers have been unpacking stuff needed for the memorial service (pic here), security has been visibly increased, and members of the Jewish community have started coming in
