CMAT 2016: Registrations to conclude on December 10

Nagpur: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will be conducting the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2016. The last date for the registration is December 10. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 17.

The candidates should register online, the link for the same is http://www.aicte-cmat.in/College/Index_New.aspx. The candidates will have to register themselves as a new user, by entering all the necessary details such as their name, parent’s name, date of birth, category, gender, email etc. They can also give name of the three cities where they would like to appear for the exam, as per their convenience.

Fee payment for the same can be done online, as well as offline. In order to pay the fee online, the candidates can use credit card/debit card/net banking while for offline payment, the candidates are required to make a cash payment at SBI bank.

The exam will comprise of 100 questions based on Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. The test will be held for a duration of three hours. There shall be negative marking for wrong answers; for each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. A trial test will be available from December 12. The candidates are advised to go through the trial test carefully.
