Unlike the previous season of Bigg Boss being aired on colors, the latest version is sizzling with quite a buzz. One day its contestant Armaan Kohli is arrested and the other day he is caught kissing his fellow mate Tanisha Mukherjee. Since long the love chemistry has been cooking up in the Bigg Boss house. On Friday’s episode, Armaan and Tanisha were caught kissing and cuddling in more than one instance, which appeared quite bizarre given the show’s primetime family slot.
Nagpur Today took a brief account of how city viewers across various ages and profession feel on all the masala acts going on in this season of Big Boss.
Platform of physical intimacy
Rajan Sahi, an architect in a city firm said this season of Bigg Boss has turned into a love destination for contestants Armaan Kohli and Tanisha Mukherjee with endless instances of physical intimacy. Armaan has repeatedly made public his affection for Tanisha. But the producer should equally consider the family watching the show. “How far can they go to grab publicity and make the show up on the TRP scales,” Sahi reacted.
Better get married
Engineering student Poonam Devghare said, “Armaan was seen kissing Tanisha yet again and this time on the lips, which even left the actress numb for a second. Tanisha was recorded telling the actor that his family’s assumption on their relationship status was based on their actions towards each other in the show and hence was justified. Armaan went to the extent of saying that the marriage might be considered from three-four months from now, as the actress smiled coyly. So it’s better they should get married after being evicted from Bigg Boss house.”
All plastic gesture
Housewife Meena Motghare said though she enjoyed watching the show but does not agree that all this is a part of reality show. “The participants deliberately behave in the way they are behaving. I strongly feel that some scenes are scripted as the inmates react in such a planned manner. Even the emotions appear so plastic. So I feel this Armaan and Tanishaa story is just a publicity stunt. After all, at the end of the day it is the popularity of the show that matters, and going by the buzz in the Telly Town, the producers can go to any extent for maintaining the commercial viability of the show. In fact such scenes do set the show ruling on chart and the makers are aware of it,” she added.
High point a must
Sachin Mishra, a trader at Ramdaspeth, said Armaan was seen asking for a kiss, which the actress happily obliged and demanded the same back from the actor. Their playful flirting was the focus of camera attention as it zoomed close enough to give the viewers a slice of their private talks. “Actually this is the high point of the show which any show in today’s times would require whether its fiction or reality show. I remember the love making scene of Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar which overnight pumped up the TRPs of Bade Achhe Lagte Hein. So call it a gimmick or just a natural affair, this is the need of the hour in any show,” he added.
