Nagpur: The City Congress (Youth) workers, led by its president Banti Shelke, on Saturday, staged a strong agitation in front of GMC Dean’s office against HoD Forensic Medicine, Dr Makarand Vyavhare who is caught multi-faceted controversy in GMCH.
The agitators first stormed at his office-chamber, and as he was not in his chamber, they shouted slogans condemning his black deeds, put a garland of chappals on his chair and threw blackening ink on it. Later they staged agitation in front of GMC Dean’s office. They also met Dean Dr Abhimanyu Niswade and demanded immediate suspension of Dr Vyavhare.
Dr Niswade pacified the agitators by assuring them that a suitable action would be taken against him.
