City 9 year- old wins State Open Sea Swimming Competition

Nagpur News: Nine year- old Himani Fakde, a Class IV student of Sanjuba High School, Nagpur, came first in the 3rd State Open Sea Swimming Competition organised by Sindhudurg Amateur Aquatic Association at Chiwla Beach, Malwan.

The competition was for the under- 10 age group, and Himani beat all her competitors- girls as well as boys- by swimming a distance of 1km in an impressive 9 minutes and 20 seconds. Himani, an active member of the Shark Aquatic Club, Nagpur, had been guided by NIS swimming coach Sanjay Bawte.
