Nagpur News: The cheating of a company to the tune of Rs 14,00,000 by two accused has taken a macabre turn and a murder has been added into the high-profile fraud.

According to police, the complainant Kilavyankat Nara Srinivas (45), resident of Bellie Shop, Quarter No. P/119, Bezonbagh, Indora, Nagpur runs a company LG Company Alliance Private Limited located at 38, MIDC, Nagpur. Srinivas had lodged a complaint with MIDC police that the two accused Nilesh N Thakre (45), resident of Sakoli, District Bhandara and Ramkrishna Sitaram Darvate, resident of Duttwadi, New Mangal Society, Plot No. 17, Wadi had connived with each other and sold the LG Company Alliance Private Limited’s 4024 kg of high-grade zinc worth Rs 10,00,000 and mix copper worth Rs 4,00,000 when the costly material was being brought to Nagpur from Wardha in a truck (MH-31/AP7821) between Bhugaon Ring Road Wardha and Nagpur to a third person. And thus cheated the company of Kilavyankat Nara Srinivas to the tune of Rs 14,00,000. The MIDC PSI Bhagat had registered an offence under Sections 407, 34 of the IPC against the accused Nilesh N Thakre and Ramkrishna Sitaram Darvate.

However, during the course of investigation, terrible facts got revealed that the accused Ramkrishna Sitaram Darvate murdered the truck driver Nilesh Natthuji Thakre (45) with the help of a sharp-edged knife near Borkhedi Camp bridge on Wardha-Nagpur Road. After killing Nilesh Thakre, Ramkrishna Sitaram Darvate sold the LG Company Alliance Private Limited’s 4024 kg of high-grade zinc worth Rs 10,00,000 and mix copper worth Rs 4,00,000 being brought to Nagpur in Thakre’s truck to Jugnu Sevalal Sahu (40), resident of Plot No. 4, Gopal Nagar Second Bus Stop, Nagpur.

Now, the MIDC police have converted the cheating offence registered previously at Police Station into Sections 407, 302, 394, 120(B), 411, 34 of the IPC and have arrested both the accused Ramkrishna Sitaram Darvate and Jugnu Sevalal Sahu. Further investigation is under way.

It may be recalled, Nagpur Today had flashed the report with headline “Two employees booked for duping company of Rs 14 lakh” wherein it was reported that two employees of a company were booked by MIDC police for duping the owner of Rs 14 lakh on Thursday. The accused have been identified  Nilesh N Thakre (45), a resident of Bhandara and Ramkrishna Sitaram Darvate, a resident of Duttawadi.

But nobody imagined that the truck driver Nilesh Thakre was murdered by Ramkrishna Darvate in his nefarious designs to sell the costly goods.
