Aakash Institute opens Nagpur Centre
Nagpur Today News : In an exclusive talk with Nagpur Today, Chairman and Managing Director of Aakash Educational Services Ltd, J C Chaudhry said that he has immense pleasure in opening a new franchisee in Nagpur City. He opined that unlike other myths about students, career oriented students still stay connected with teachers and the age old system of Guru-Shishya still works. Teachers who are highly educated and having a passion for teaching is able to connect with the students and teach them.

Why do students need tuitions?
J C Chaudhry said that schools can and are teaching subjects. They have a tight schedule to follow within which they have to complete the entire syllabus. They do not have to prepare the children for competitive examinations. The competitive examinations are tough and hardly 1-2 per cent students get into professional courses. The rest who don’t get adequate training to appear for these exams have to settle for some other course. He opined that this is where Aakash steps-in and caters to the needs of students by channelizing their knowledge and preparing them to appear in any competitive exam be, it for engineering or for medicine. These entrance examinations need special coaching for specific needs of each student. He proudly said that Aakash has 96 Centres all over the country. The CMD makes it a point to visit all the Centres at least once a year. He opined that the best brains are everywhere. All it requires is to tap, it channelize them and train them to achieve the optimum best that they can.
He said that 6 years back, there was not even one selection in AIPMT from Maharashtra. The teachers were concentrating and training the students only for MHCET. There were no players in the field to cater to the needs of tutoring the students and preparing them for AIPMT. After Aakash entered the fray, and tutored students, the number of selections in AIPMT has significantly increased. He claimed that they are now at par with any other state in the country.

J C Chaudhry without even blinking for a second he said that it is Care For the Students. He said that at Aakash, a team of highly trained teachers cater to all the needs of the students. Not only do they cater and tutor the students academically, they also cater to the emotional needs of the students. He said that students often get disturbed emotionally because poor performance in school exams or mock tests. The lecturers listen to their problems, counsel the students and make him or her feel ready to face the war of exams once again.
He claimed that since Nagpur City is very hot during the summers, the entire building is going to Air Conditioned (AC).
What does Aakash give special that other institutes don’t?
He also claimed that they have an I-Tutor Lab which is unique only to Aakash. Explaining about I-Tutor Lab, he said that whenever a student falls ill and is not able to attend to the lectures or he or she has school examinations and have to miss the lectures at the Centre, he or she can access the missed lectures at I-Tutor Lab and get notes. This I-Tutor has recorded lectures from the leading lecturers of the country. This lab will be open from 8 am to 8 pm. This facility will be free for all the students of Aakash Centre.
